“I’m a very controversial figure in the Christian world. I don’t believe if you’re gay or you have a drink or you dance, you’re going to hell. I don’t think that’s the kind of God we have. […] I want to be a Christian like Christ - loving and accepting of other people.” Kristin Chenoweth
I love how she thinks, and she is just so wonderful.
Its great that you love the way she thinks… (and i wish it were true) but she’s wrong. Homosexuals live in a constant state of sin, and they believe that God will grant them grace even though they are not taking the rules seriously. Each of us are tempted in certain ways which are unique to ourselves. I am not tempted in the way which you are (and you are not tempted in the way that i am)… nor am i tempted in the way that homosexuals are (to engage in physical relations with the same sex). I sin when i do not over come my temptation, and so do they, but the difference is that God will accept me with the repentance of sin, while those who are tempted with homosexuality believe that God will love them (and accept them) even if they continue with this sin. I will not be granted salvation until i ask for forgiveness for my sins, and actively peruse a lifestyle which does not include that sin. This is contrary to a lifestyle which peruses a continuance of the homosexuality lifestyle.
:| That’s nice.
If by nice you mean true, than yes.
