Why do I need Jesus?
2 years agoI am a gossip, a liar, a judger, and a thief. I manipulate others to get what I want, I make people feel bad to get attention. I contradict myself and then get angry when others hurt me by contradicting the things they’ve said. I am inconsiderate, lazy, selfish, and rude. I use sarcasm too much and have impure thoughts. I have conformed to the evil ways of this world. I don’t always love and I don’t always spread truth. I get lonely, afraid, and weak. Some days, I don’t have purpose. I am lost, tired, and empty. I am a vessel that continues to try and fill itself with that which will never bring fulfillment and everlasting peace. Why do I need Jesus? Because I am nothing without Him. I am nothing without grace and compassion. My faith in Him is what makes me who I am. It is through Him that I have gained the characteristics that make me..well..me. My heart is Christ.
I don’t understand how people can live without hope.
