Umm… i’ll need some WD-40 and a candle lighter…. (we might need a fire extinguisher and some white paint for after)
1 year agoi always wondered how God could invent people with the disadvantage of truly being attracted to the other sex. that seems so unfair to me, and sort of cruel. i saw it on the same level as a child ripping off the wings of a moth and curiously watching it flail about for a while.

Completely agree. Very good Jessica. Having homosexual tendencies, or even acting on urges in a homosexual way is not any different than any other sin (getting drunk, lying, or cheating), but the prolonged act of the sin and the belief that God will forgive you even if you do not recognize it as a personal sin even more—try to correct it—is the real pit fall.

“I’m a very controversial figure in the Christian world. I don’t believe if you’re gay or you have a drink or you dance, you’re going to hell. I don’t think that’s the kind of God we have. […] I want to be a Christian like Christ - loving and accepting of other people.” Kristin Chenoweth
I love how she thinks, and she is just so wonderful.
Its great that you love the way she thinks… (and i wish it were true) but she’s wrong. Homosexuals live in a constant state of sin, and they believe that God will grant them grace even though they are not taking the rules seriously. Each of us are tempted in certain ways which are unique to ourselves. I am not tempted in the way which you are (and you are not tempted in the way that i am)… nor am i tempted in the way that homosexuals are (to engage in physical relations with the same sex). I sin when i do not over come my temptation, and so do they, but the difference is that God will accept me with the repentance of sin, while those who are tempted with homosexuality believe that God will love them (and accept them) even if they continue with this sin. I will not be granted salvation until i ask for forgiveness for my sins, and actively peruse a lifestyle which does not include that sin. This is contrary to a lifestyle which peruses a continuance of the homosexuality lifestyle.
:| That’s nice.
If by nice you mean true, than yes.
Dear God Dalton, give it a rest already. No matter how much you preach at me, my mind will not be changed. Thanks anyway.
I wasn’t preaching at you… if i were to do that, i would bring up other things which would have a more direct impact on you. I wasn’t trying to insult you, but i wont suppress the truth. If you want to believe a lie, so be it.
